The Department of Blue Economy (DBE) has formalized a strategic partnership with Empowering Seychelles Blue Economy Entrepreneurs (ESBEE) through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU). This collaboration aims to foster entrepreneurship and the development of sustainable business practices within Seychelles’ Blue Economy sector.
The MoU establishes a framework for collaboration between the DBE and ESBEE, focusing on empowering local entrepreneurs, particularly in the artisanal fishing sector and emerging Blue Economy industries. Key areas of cooperation include implementing capacity-building initiatives, strategically allocating resources, and providing mentorship to nurture sustainable business practices.
