High Commissioner of India pays courtesy call on the Designated Minister Jean-Francois Ferrari

The High Commissioner for India, H.E. Mr. Karthik Pande, made a courtesy call on the Designated Minister, Jean-Francois Ferrari, at Maison Collette on Tuesday, November 15, 2022.

During the meeting, Minister Ferrari spoke about the Seychelles’ strong and long-standing connection with India, as well as his desire for the partnership to grow.

The Minister emphasized the importance of India’s military patrol in Seychelles waters, as well as grants from the Indian government that have aided the Seychelles Coast Guard military surveillance.

During the discussion, the Minister and High Commissioner Pande briefly addressed several other initiatives and stressed the importance of consolidating on those. 

They also discussed the need of exploring prospective exchanges and collaborations in tourism, shipping, and other industries.
